For the Power Formulas Add-on

We make the following commitment to our Google Workspace add-on (Power Formulas) users:

While we do use tools to record usage analytics on our add-on for quality-improvement purposes, no personally identifiable information will be collected in our usage analytics.

While the add-on frequently requests permission to access the full contents of users' Google Sheets, this is generally because the Apps Script development framework offers us no workable alternative of more limited scope. These access rights are required to allow actions performed by the end user, and in no case are the textual contents of users' Sheets files transmitted to any 3rd party services outside of the user's direct control or knowledge. Other than the case of creating new files for the user in their Sheets, our tools only access the file from which the script or Add-on is launched.

We don't make any claim to the intellectual property of the users of our add-on.

We employ the use of cookies. By using Power Formulas's website you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with Power Formulas's privacy policy. Most of the modern-day interactive web sites use cookies to enable us to retrieve user details for each visit. Cookies are used in some areas of our site to enable the functionality of this area and ease of use for those people visiting. Some of our affiliate or partners may also use cookies.

Unless otherwise stated, Power Formulas and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on Power Formulas. All intellectual property rights are reserved. The Power Formulas add-on ("The Service"), which works in Google Sheets, is licensed, not sold, to you by us for use strictly in accordance with the terms and conditions of this License. This License permits you to use a single copy of the Software solely for your personal or internal business purposes.

You agree not to, and will not permit others to license, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, disclose or otherwise commercially exploit the Service or make the Service available to any third party. You shall not attempt to modify, reverse compile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the Service.

Use of Third-party Services

Connection to Third-party Services

Power Formulas acts solely as a facilitative tool, enabling Users to connect with services offered by OpenAI or other third-party API service providers. It is designed to enhance user experience by integrating functionalities such as language or image model generations directly into Google Sheets. The role of Power Formulas is limited to that of an intermediary, providing the necessary technical infrastructure for such integrations but does not partake in the actual provision of the third-party services themselves.

User Responsibility

Users of Power Formulas acknowledge and agree that they are solely responsible for any costs, fees, or charges incurred through the use of OpenAI's services or any other third-party API service providers accessed via Power Formulas. This includes, but is not limited to, subscription fees, usage charges, and any other financial obligations arising from the use of said third-party services.

Indemnification

Users hereby agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Power Formulas, its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable attorney fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with the User's access to or use of OpenAI's services or any other third-party API services through Power Formulas. This indemnification obligation includes, without limitation, any liability or expense arising from all claims, losses, damages (actual and consequential), suits, judgments, litigation costs, and attorneys' fees of every kind and nature.

User Acknowledgement

By utilizing Power Formulas to access third-party services such as OpenAI and others, the User acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this section. The User accepts full responsibility for any and all usage of these third-party services, including compliance with the terms of service, privacy policies, and any other policies governing the use of such services. The User further acknowledges that Power Formulas has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.

Removal of links from our website

If you find any link on our Web site or any linked web site objectionable for any reason, you may contact us about this. We will consider requests to remove links but will have no obligation to do so or to respond directly to you.
